Just thoughts

I was thinking of people who catch a cold. If they think this is of low immunity level, and sports increase immunity, and they being sick go to the gym... will it be helpful? Or some severe diseases, i.e. cancer , they have a special treatment, but if there is a sour throat or other cold in the same time, first they get rid of this and then continue treatment. because treatment is an effort itself. and it demands a (relatively) healthier body. First comes cure, then recovering, then training or other effort. Just there should be a really good understanding of the situation itself.

because it can be different. once i had a topic at the summer school. words not deeds. sorry, deeds, not words :) you see? my subconscious gives my true opinion :)))
it was a tough topic for me. how one can teach smb being ignorant himself ?
being very creative :), i remembered of 5 steps of prayer by Shoghi Effendi (well, its not exactly the Writings or smth, but we may use it,
i understood.) and I made it this way: Friends, we are talking of deeds, but any deed needs energy, lets talk where do we get this energy from. first we get energy, then we use it. otherwise we will blame ourselves in vain, thinking us lazy or smth, but did you see any car moving without energy? so the first step to do smth is to get energy.
this is a different situation, the expectations are different, motivation is different, results are different. but both have smth in common.

I think you already know what i will say next. yes, the only power in universe, and the best medicine, is love and the only Sourse of it is God.

i am very materialistic, i always want to see it, to feel it. you know these cristian tv shows where they shout "God loves you"? really, i love it, coz sometimes I forget about it and they shout it so loud as to make me hear :)))) i also try to remember of smth good in my life, of people who loved me or love me, my family, some friends, imagining these are the signs of His love. even food is a sign of His love :)
or i think how great is that i am Baha'i. i think every passage in the Writings and every prayer is filled with His love "as a cup full of rose oil".
but sometimes i just make a wish. i know i am to be burnt for heresy, but i do. we are His community, a community of blissful, aren't we?

whatever. those who have more abstract and elevated thinking may find some more appropriate ways :)

I imagine ego as a stairway to heaven. with many steps. once we see that we stay on ego and say - no, i must go higher. but then we see that the next step is also ego but of different nature, more subtle. so we go higher again. but nobody can say - i can live without ego. if we do not stay on the same step - its ok. heresy no.2. well i know its ok bacause He loves us, and is Compassionate.
and to move higher we need some energy and to be in good shape.

there are many natural needs we have - to eat etc. these are not ego, it's life. we cant say to children - go live without food. (tough topic, sorry). but we teach them to share some yummy food together. I have a brother - when we have a piece of cake (or just one chocolate) we share it. and when he forgets to eat his part, and comes to eat it later, he makes 2 pieces of it again - 1 for me :) i love him :)
or when we teach children to share parents' love - ooooh, i look at my friends' children, and other families. a truly challenging task.

I think ego is not wanting smth, is not-sharing. Ego is the absence of love.

I was thinking of the circulation of energy in nature. From sun to plants and forth, it reaches every single atom, and never stops. The energy is always here. its natural state is movement. Love is the same. it has to be shared.
Or lets say, electricity. in a huge system with many devices and many wires it goes back and forth, and when some device is not working its because energy doesn't reach it. some contact is broken or is not good because of dust or oil or.. you know better :)))
which contact? the energy is not getting in or not getting out? how we can fix it? clean it, solder it, replace it? many questions. sometimes we need to consult to see all the sides of situation and we need to know ourselves.

when we do not share love it's ego, and we learn to share, its training. but to want love is not ego.

to stay on the same step and to say - its ok, to feel that smth is wrong and to say - no, i am right, - that is ego.

those who say - i am ok, i am safe - they are not safe. and who say -
i was wrong, they are safe
